The Skinny Test Kitchen: Peach Perfection

To my delight, peaches are in season and on sale at the local grocery store, so I’ve been loading up each week. The only problem is, they tend to go bad quickly. Here are a few healthy recipes to put those peaches to use!

Peach Crisp

Serves 2

2 peaches
Stevia and Cinnamon (to taste)
1/3 cup granola

Preheat oven to 350. Grease an oven-safe pan.

Slice peaches and place in a bowl. Toss with stevia and cinnamon. Place in oven-safe pan. Cover with foil.

Bake until peaches are tender, approximately 20 minutes. Remove from oven, top with granola and serve.

*If you like the topping softer, replace the foil and let sit for 15 minutes.

It doesn’t get much easier than this! Just slice and use as much cinnamon and stevia as you like!

Just Peachy Smoothie

1 cup peaches (fresh or frozen)
1 container Greek yogurt (I use Triple Zero Coconut Cream)
1/2 cup almond milk (or whatever milk of your choice)
1/2 scoop protein powder (optional)
*if using fresh peaches, add ice

Blend and enjoy!

A few simple ingredients equal one tasty shake!

Strawberry Peach Parfait

1/2 peach
3-4 large strawberries
1/2 c plain non-fat Greek yogurt
Stevia to taste

Layer and serve.
