Don’t just sit there – get up and get moving!
Summer is right around the corner, and as much as the cooler temps may have you wanting to lounge around, you know you want to be ready to for the beach on that first warm day.
The only way that’s going to happen is if you get up and get after it.
Here’s a good leg workout you can do using that chair you’re no longer sitting in.
20 Plie Squats
20 One-leg Chair Sits (alternating legs – these are tough!)
20 Split Squats (10 each leg)
20 Lateral Lunges (10 each leg)
20 One-leg Forward Folds (10 each leg)
20 Front Leg Raises (10 each leg)
20 Lateral Leg Raises (10 each leg)
20 Glute Kickbacks (10 each leg)
20 Chair Squats
20 Curtsy Lunges (10 each leg)
20 Calf Raises
If you want to mix in some cardio, try skipping rope between each exercise. I like to do 100 skips between each set.
Depending on your fitness level, repeat the series 1-2 times.
